Eligibility Any Bangladeshi Citizen attaining 18 years and above age with photo ID document as applicable for opening savings account
Minimum initial deposit amount BDT 25 lacs; and minimum balance of BDT 50 lacs to be maintained in savings/current account.
Required documents
  • Bank’s prescribed AOF (duly signed by the applicant)
  • 3 (three) PP size photographs of applicant(s) attested by bank official or any person acceptable to the Bank.
  • Copy of valid photo ID like; Passport, NID, Driving License etc.
  • One PP size photograph of nominee attested by the account holder
Introducer’s Eligibility Any existing MMBL account holder or any other MMBL officials.
Availability All MMBL branches
AIT, Excise Duty & VAT Will be deducted as per NBR rules
Cheque Book Priority cheque book will be issued against the account
